How To Promote Audible On Your Blog

Introduction

While you may or may not use Amazon’s affiliate program to promote physical products or even books and audiobooks, you may not know that you can also promote Amazon programs like Audible as well.

I like to do this when I am doing a book review or talking about a book that helped me a lot or one that I’m currently reading.

I’ll find an affiliate link for that book and include an affiliate link for audible so that they can join audible for free, get that audiobook book for free and have another free audiobook.

That really is a win win win deal right there.

In this post I’m going to be doing kind of a walk-through to show you how this strategy can be implemented on your own blog.

First Step

The first step, if you haven’t done this already, is registering with Amazon associates.

This is the Amazon affiliate program that allows you to promote the books you like and Audible.

Second Step

You will want to find the proper affiliate links using Amazon Associates for the book or books you are going to be writing about.

You can do this by signing into your Amazon Associates account. On your home page there is a box for finding quick links for products, type the title of the book in here and hit the search button.

Find your book and click on the down facing arrow in the yellow box beside it. Next select the option to shrink your link. Now copy your link and add it under the part of the blog where to talk about this book.

Third Step

Now you need to get your affiliate link for the Audible free trial.

You can do this by logging into your Amazon Associates account.

Once logged you will want to click on the promotions tab on the top bar. this will bring you to the Amazon Bounties page. You will want to click where it says “See All Bounties” then find the one for Audible that offers two free audiobooks.

Once you have found it click the “Get Link” button and select the short link. Copy it and add it to your blog under the section where you talk about the Audible free trial.

Make sure to properly disclose that this are affiliate links as U.S. laws require.

My Go To Motivation Book

I will tell you right now I have NEVER read a book more times than I have read The War of Art.

When ever I am feeling the strong pull of procrastination I reread The War Of Art, not to be confused with The Art Of War, which is also a very good book.

Although it is not a very long book it has some powerful ideas. Ideas that will get you up and going!

If you are looking for real motivation I recommend no other book, no matter what you are trying to do, I think this book can help.

No joke, after reading The War of Art for the first time I bought it for everyone in my family for Christmas that year.

Everyone suffers from procrastination and The War of Art attacks it head on.

I want you to enjoy this book as much as I do.

To make that as easy as possible for you I have done something pretty cool.

Below I have added my personal affiliate link for an Audible 30 day free trial. If you sign up through this link you will get a one month free trial for Audible and two free audiobook credits.

I have also added my personal affiliate link for The War of Art. You can use one of your newly acquired audible audiobook credits to get it and listen to it for yourself.

*The following are affiliate links which may pay me a commission at no extra cost to you.
